The center will welcome Lama Bertrand Puntso for teaching and practices of Chine (mental calm).
Friday 8 pm: public lecture
Saturday and Sunday: sessions from 10h to 12h and 14h30 to 16h30 (afternoon hours subject to reservation).
About Lama Bertrand Puntso: He studied Dharma at Karma-ling in Savoy for about ten years from 1981 to 1990. After studying traditional texts and actively participating in the construction of the retreat centers, he performed the first three-year pension from 1985 to 1988.
A few words about mental calm (or shamata or shine): this practice, common to all Buddhist schools and especially accessible to beginners, uses concentration exercises to develop a stability of mind and a lasting inner peace. In the Tibetan tradition, inner calm is finely studied to be able to experience it at its source, develop qualities, reduce negativities and free oneself from egocentrism. As we learn to put our minds, we gradually reveal our innate natural freedom.
Thank you for registering for Saturday and Sunday sessions.
